Presidential Debates

This is such a unique opportunity to truly communicate to Americans. I'm still aghast at the fact that McCain is using the financial crisis to bail on the debate, because, seriously, he is ONE man. There is an entire Senate and House who work TOGETHER to create strategies and solutions, I'm just not convinced that by his presence and "focus" on the issue, that it'll actually be better handled. I also feel like that's a grandiose statement. If you truly feel your work and contribution in the Senate is that significant, than you better live to it! We should have concrete plans and action that will (not maybe will), but WILL lead to a solution... that's all I'm saying.

Most of the country has been waiting for a real debate between the two candidates, maybe this is, yet, another ploy to draw more attention to the Republican campaign (because we all know that haven't been getting the most positive feedback -insert Palin-) ? The idea of making people wonder whether or not he'll actually be present? I think it's kinda ridiculous... if you ask me.

Either way, it'll be a show of all shows. Please, McCain, don't show up! Give the entire platform to Barack, he'll do well with it... but I'd much rather see him wipe the floor with you. :)
